For those organizing events I have listed the most common questions we receive:

How far will you travel for an event?

We are based in Lincoln but travel throughout the UK and Europe.

How long do you play for?

Our set lists timings are not fixed as we prefer to be as flexible as possible for functions but to give you an idea, the violin and piano duo are able to play for up to two hours with a small break at an appropriate point, whilst N-Compass and Synergy can play for a maximum of two hours with small breaks.

Do I need to book a DJ?

Not necessarily. We are able to play CDs between sets or during dinner and use some disco lights and whilst we have specially prepared interval playlists designed to keep the party atmosphere, we do not act as a DJ

Do I need to provide any equipment?

No. We are fully contained all we need is between two and five wall socket dependent upon the band size that has been booked and the number of guests. For larger functions we bring a larger PA system that requires more power.

Would you be able to perform a song request?

We are happy to perform special requests provided we know them. Additionally, we will learn some tunes for first dances at weddings provided enough notice is given and it is possible to perform the song live with the number of musicians we have.

What are your requirements?

All we ask is that we have a private room (for changing costume and storing our belongings etc.) and soft drinks are provided. We may, if we are at the venue for a considerable time need some food. We also require suitable parking near the performance venue and a clear route in and out for the equipment.

We will require a good size stage area with allocated power. However stage size depends upon the size of band required and the number in the audience.

Do you play outside events?

Yes. We have played at many outside events. However, please consider the following points before booking the duo for an outside event: - there must be suitable power provided - there needs to be a level ground for us to set up on - please provide suitable protective covering for us and our equipment (always cater for the possibility of rain, even in the summer!) - please inform any neighbouring properties beforehand about the event as noise levels may be an issue.

Can we come and see you perform before we book?

We are more than happy for potential clients to come and see our live performances whenever possible. However, most of our performances are for private clients and are closed functions to which we never invite personal guests of our own. We hope you understand this need to respect our client's privacy.
